Arriving by air

• RAF Syerston welcomes visitors by air, but only on a strict PPR basis
• Radio contact must be established 10 minutes before entering the ATZ
• Military circuits are to be flown at 800ft agl
• For Powered aircraft the following runways are available:
  • 03L - Grass
  • 07L - Grass
  • 07 - Concrete (land long beyond any control caravan on runway)
  • 12R - Grass
  • 16L - Grass (not shown on pooleys plate)
  • 16 - Concrete (land long beyond any control caravan on runway)
  • 25R - Grass
  • 25 - Concrete (Land at threshold)
  • 30L - Grass
  • 34R - Grass (not shown on pooleys plate)
  • 34 - Concrete (land long beyond any control caravan on runway)
• Be aware of intense winch and aerotow gliding activity in opposite circuit
• AVGAS 110LL is available for military aircraft only
