The latest edition of the C-category groundschool training manual has been added to the VGS restricted area of the website. If you notice any errors with the document then let Flt Lt Burton know so that it can be changed.

This year’s winners of the Air League Challenge Cup are 636VGS, Swansea. The weather was not particularly good; however a number of flying competitions were achieved. These included timed engine stopped landings; timed circuits and spot landings. When the weather was not so good DK put on his eagerly awaited "spot the defect" task. Worryingly; after 18 contestants had inspected the aircraft there were still two defects that were never found.
OC CGS has been called away to assist in the Service Enquiry for the recent Tutor midair collision in Oxfodshire. Wg Cdr Lawless is likely to be absent from Syerston for a couple of months.

Although only in its early days, the CGS website is gathering pace quickly. A number of pages have already been populated with information. The main areas of work will be to get the courses published and joined instructions made available for download
